We believe that God has gifted each of us with unique talents, and how we use those talents is our gift back to God. Here students are given the opportunity to express their creativity, celebrate their differences, and work together to produce amazing Broadway-inspired performances. By fostering a loving atmosphere, students are provided a safe space to explore who they are, and who God has made them to be. WC Theater – more than just a stage.

WC Theater 1 is for students currently in grades 4th-6th. This class gives younger actors an opportunity to learn singing, acting and dancing skills in a fun and safe environment. This semester will end with performances on May 1 & 2 of Finding Nemo KIDS. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 - 6 p.m.

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Auditions: Auditions for the show will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025. A link to sign up for an audition time will be included in the registration confirmation email you receive. During auditions, students will be asked to sing a song or a portion of a song that is approximately one minute long. It is preferred that students sing a song from the show.

WC Theater 2 is for students currently in 7th-9th grade. Student actors will have an opportunity to learn singing, acting and dancing skills in a fun and safe environment.. All the skills, hard work and fun will culminate in 2 performances on May 8 & 9 at 7 p.m. in the Foundry. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join us for a show that’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins JR. includes a score filled with timeless classics as well as charming new songs written especially for this adaptation.

In the musical, Bert, a jack-of-all-trades, invites us into the world of London, England in 1910 — and, specifically, into the dysfunctional home of the Banks family. Jane and Michael, the young Banks children, have sent yet another nanny packing, dismissing these children as hopelessly and irrevocably spoiled and misbehaved. With a father who works constantly and mother who is always distracted, Jane and Michael have suffered without strong caretaking forces in their lives. Then the magical Mary Poppins flies in on the wind with her parrot umbrella, bringing with her a combination of whimsy, magic, and disciplined common sense to the children’s lives. Together, they go on memorable and magical adventures — and also learn the importance of a tidy nursery and of taking the medicine they need (with a spoonful of sugar, of course). Mary Poppins’ transformational influence does not stop with the children — eventually, she teaches the grown-ups, as well, to open up and realize that “anything can happen if you let it.”A link to sign up for an audition time will be included in the registration confirmation email you receive.
