It is built into everything we do: the worship and adoration of the Holy Trinity--God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. It is praising God not just privately but also corporately.

Worship is what empowers, inspires, and directs everything White's Chapel strives to be and do. The church's efforts in missions, disciples, outreach, compassion, and fellowship - everything in the church's identity - is found in the God we meet in worship.

At the heart of our Christian journey is the time we regularly spend together in worship: the time we spend in authentic connection with God and with each – praising, praying, singing, speaking, listening. With multiple worship venues and four distinctive “styles” of worship every weekend, WC has a place for you.

When we gather together to worship, we are expressing both an adoration and reverence for the Lord. Worship can take place both inside and outside of the church, and through technology, art, vocally and more! Through these provided tools below, you have access to our worship services, opportunities to get involved in worship and music, and other ways you can experience the presence of Jesus from anywhere!

Walton Chapel Worship

The Founders Service in Walton Chapel is a community gathering for worship, prayer, and Holy Communion. The Founders Service combines both traditional and contemporary elements in a small church setting, seeking God’s light of illumination to transform us in soul and spirit!

Foundation Worship Service
ONLINE - Sundays at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Traditional worship service featuring chancel choir, full orchestra, song leaders, traditional hymns, piano, organ and special guests.

Chancel Choir
Add some joy to your life! Whether you sing five notes or five octaves, we have a place for you in the Chancel Choir. No auditions are necessary; just a love of God and a love for music. The choir is a friendly and welcoming group of regular folks just like you.

Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Hall and/or Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. in the Ensemble Room.

The Chancel Choir helps lead worship at the 11 a.m. Sanctuary service and at other seasonal special events in the life of our church.

Children's Choir
Children not only enjoy the opportunity to develop the art of Christian leadership through music, but are given a place to connect with each other, to be creative, and to contribute to the church community.

Crescendo!
Mondays | 5 – 6 p.m. | Choir Rehearsal Hall
1st through 8th will experience the world of music through Orff and percussion instruments, handbells, recorders, as well as choral singing in the fall semester! Emphasis will be on the vital role that music plays in worship and life. In the spring session, students will enjoy preparing a musical sharing Biblical stories in a fun and creative way!”

Cantaré
Meets Tuesday Evenings | 7 – 8 p.m.
Third graders to high school seniors come to Southlake from all over the DFW Metroplex to participate in this comprehensive community choral program. They are from public and private schools, and several are from home school families.

With the mission of providing quality music instruction and attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral performance, Cantaré offers an exciting and unparalleled experience for advanced singers to learn diverse choral repertoire and perform for the community.

Through music activities and community involvement, the choir fosters the personal and social growth of members and promotes a sense of self-esteem, accomplishment and pride.

Joyful Noise classes will resume in January 2025
Joyful Noise is a Mommy-and-Me music class designed for Toddlers and is led by Sarah Bryson. Will occur every Monday at 10 a.m. Located in "The Pit" between Circuit Writers and the Sanctuary.

Experienced adult instrumentalists and advanced high school players are welcome to join! Rehearsals are Sundays from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. in the music rehearsal hall. You will have the opportunity to help lead 11 a.m. worship services and special seasonal events here!

Orchestra Overview

Handbell Choirs
Mondays | 6 to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:15 pm. | Ensemble Room
Ring in the Presence of God.
People of all ages can enjoy a variety of opportunities to grow as musicians through our handbell program.

All our handbell choirs participate in worship, special concerts, and both national and local festivals throughout the year. There are currently two choirs available here – with each designed around experience and level of musical skill! The program is also open to new members year round. We always welcome experienced ringers as substitutes for rehearsals and performances.
