The Angel Tree Forest represents multiple individuals in need during the holiday season. Virtual Trees are live starting on Oct. 15 (gift drop-off starting on Nov. 1). The in-person forest will be available on Nov. 1 in the concourse, art gallery, commons and the WC Kids’ area.

Each tree represents angels from specific groups in crisis, allowing people to focus on a particular area of outreach that they are passionate about. Families and individuals are encouraged to participate in this year’s event by adopting an angel, purchasing the items listed, and returning the items to the church. A typical angel tag will list the name of the individual who will receive the item and the item to purchase. The number of items on each angel tag may vary. Participants can also donate to the event, volunteer to sort gifts, or deliver donated items to agencies for people during the holiday season.

This event, running until Dec. 6, allows people to participate in a donation experience unique to White’s Chapel and has been a beloved, long-standing tradition here for 19 years.

Gift cards from Walmart and Amazon are also accepted. Look for more detailed information coming soon regarding donating and volunteering. For more information, please contact Martha Reukema at mreukema@mac.com. Drop-offs are accepted Nov. 1 - Dec. 6 during church business hours.
