At White’s Chapel, joining the church is about more than just membership; it’s about discipleship. When the Holy Spirit leads an individual or family to join our church, you will be committing yourself to a community of individuals and families who are on a journey. Are we perfect? Of course not… but we’re working on it with the Spirit’s help.
HOW TO JOIN
Profession of Faith & Baptism
If you have never been baptized, we invite you to profess your faith in Jesus Christ and receive the Sacrament of Baptism. Baptism is a sign of God’s grace, a gift that marks us as beloved children of God and incorporates us into Christ’s holy Church.
Reaffirmation of Faith
If you have been baptized before (in any Christian tradition) but are seeking to renew your commitment to Christ and unite with this congregation, you may do so through a reaffirmation of faith. This is a way of saying, “By God’s grace, I want to begin again.”
Transfer of Membership
If you are currently a member of another Methodist congregation or of another Christian church, you may simply transfer your membership to White’s Chapel. We recognize and honor Baptisms and Professions of Faith from all Christian traditions.
